Slow boot is usually storage. Heavy multitasking is often RAM. We can advise after seeing the machine.
Do you supply the modules?
Yes, as part of the quote, or we can inspect modules you already bought.
How long does it take?
Installation is usually same-day.
Will this void a warranty sticker?
Opening a consumer laptop can affect remaining manufacturer warranty. Ask if that still applies.
