Laptop screen replacement (panel replacement) is the renewal of a cracked, lined or blank notebook LCD/LED/OLED panel with the correct SKU. At the Mx Store Perpa workshop we run an external-monitor and eDP flex test first, so a panel swap is never recommended unless it is genuinely needed.

It is technically possible, but we do not recommend it for gaming laptop owners. Fitting a 60Hz panel throws away the high-FPS advantage. The correct panel code keeps the original refresh rate.
LED is a backlight technology, IPS is a panel type. Modern laptops use IPS panels lit by LEDs. The term "LED screen" usually refers to a TN or VA panel, while IPS offers a much wider viewing angle.
The touch layer (digitizer) can be replaced on its own, so a full panel replacement is unnecessary if the display layer is intact. On 2-in-1 models the digitizer and panel come as a single module.
Flicker usually comes from backlight PWM, a loose eDP cable or a fault in the panel power circuit. If it stops at 100% brightness the cause is likely PWM. A diagnosis settles it.
It can be a panel fault, a broken flex cable, a backlight failure or a GPU/motherboard problem. An external monitor test separates a panel fault from a board fault. Laptop motherboard repair may be required.
That points to the internal panel, the cable or the backlight, and it means the GPU is working. A free diagnosis determines whether it is the panel or the cable.
The panel code appears on the label on the back of the screen (for example B156HAN or LP156WF6) or in software such as AIDA64 and HWInfo. Send Mx Store your model or a photo of the label and we will quote you.
An A+ compatible panel is not the original factory part, it is a quality alternative built to the same resolution, connector and size. Image quality is more than adequate for most users and the price is lower.
Match the factory finish: matte for matte, glossy for glossy. A different surface changes the way the machine feels to use. The panel code itself specifies matte or glossy.

A flex cable replacement typically runs between 800 and 2.500 TL. Where the panel is not cracked, this is the economical fix. Hinge repair may be needed alongside it.
Not always. Replacing the LED bar can be enough on older models. In slim modern panels the backlight is integrated, so the panel has to be replaced.

Slight glow in the corners can be normal on IPS panels. Severe backlight bleeding or uneven lighting points to a panel or fitting problem and is assessed during diagnosis.
