Repair process, testing and safety standards

After repair we check Windows drivers, SSD health and wireless links when the job needs it. Mx Store is in Perpa Trade Center, Sisli. Drop-off is easy from Kagithane, Mecidiyekoy, Besiktas and Beyoglu. Cargo is accepted from the rest of Istanbul and Turkey.

Specialism

Teardown order follows the brand and model. Chip-level and mechanical jobs use separate procedures.

Experience

Since 2019 the Perpa, Sisli bench has handled laptops, Apple, consoles and tablets.

Parts quality

Original or A+ matched parts. Options and price are clear before approval.

Quality control

Function and heat tests run before handover. Units do not leave with an open fault.

Warranty

Labour and replaced parts are covered in writing. The term is on the handover form.

Tools we use

ESD-safe teardown, a digital meter, a temperature-controlled station and a microscope when needed. Parts are matched to the model/FRU (we do not fit random stock.

Test stages

After repair we check power, charge, display, keys/ports and heat. Gaming units get a short stress test. If something looks wrong, handover waits.

When repair may not be possible

Widespread board shorts, heavy corrosion or a critical part we cannot source can make repair uneconomic. We say so up front and do not force a repair.

Common mistakes

Forcing a dead unit on, using the wrong adapter and ignoring a swollen battery make the fault worse. Home teardowns often crack flex cables.

Care notes

Use the correct-watt adapter, keep fans clean and keep liquids off the deck. Keep the warranty form with the device.
